Basic elements

• Monoblock construction
• Honeycomb panel core
• Thickness 35 mm
• Vertical edges of anodised aluminium profile frame covered with bell touch material for linking screens. The standard design is one edge hard bell touch, the other edge soft bell touch (velour)
• Top edges of frames have an semicircular anodised aluminium profile, mitred to the vertical profiles
• Two types of frame:
  1.   for fabric covered full screens
  2.   for decorative screens
• Dimensions:
  Standard widths 400 mm to 1600 mm
  Standard heights 1000 mm to 1800 mm
  Other sizes within these dimensions are possible
• Feet adjustable by up to 30 mm. Floor clearance 65 mm.

Types of screen and their construction

Full screens

• Aluminium profile frame covered in fleece and fabric, flat
• Core material: honeycomb panel
• Thickness 35 mm

Shaped solid screens
As per full screens, but with diagonal, oblique or curved tops. Thickness 35 mm


Decorative screens
Rectangular, anodised aluminium rounded profile frame, accepts panels in a wide range of materials:

• clear or screen-printed acrylic glazing
• perforated sheet metal RAL 9006 (hole Ø 8 mm, centres 20 mm apart)
• perforated naturally coloured beech wood (hole Ø 8 mm, centres 20 mm apart)
• silver-coloured grooved aluminium
• melamine in light-grey or light pear-wood effect

Part-glazed screens
Bottom part of screen as per full screens (fabric-covered). Top part of screen as per decorative screen (anodised aluminium rounded frame): accepts materials such as clear or screen-printed acrylic glazing.


Tabletop screens
Fabric-covered short version of the full screens, rectangular, or shaped with a curved top. Held in place by brackets attached to the desk.


Organisation

• A version of the full straight screen is also available with a factory-fitted aluminium accessory strip (not retrofittable) for suspending various types of storage accessories

Bell touch linking connection system

Screens are linked using the bell touch linking connection system. Every screen has a hard bell touch connector down one edge and a soft one down the other. The screens are joined by simply pressing one screen’s hard edge against another screen’s soft one (after compensating for any unevenness in the floor by means of the adjustable feet).
 
Little sideways movements while you press the screens together help securely link the two edges. Once linked, the screens can still be moved in relation to each other, allowing for straight lines as well as all kinds of angles.
 
Screens can be separated quickly and easily without any tools: just turn one screen at right-angles to its neighbour and push a piece of card into the outer corner gap between them. Wiggle one of the screens a couple of times back and forth while pushing the card deeper into the gap until they separate.

Assembly

Brief instructions

• When linking, try to position the first screen with its hard bell touch edge by a wall, cupboard, etc. If, after linking, you end up with a hard bell touch edge at the exposed end of a screen, protect this edge with an optional covering strip (velour).
• When linking several screens together, stability is ensured by designing corners into the arrangement, or attaching screens to tables or walls.
• All screens have adjustable feet to compensate for uneven floors. Adjustments should be made before screens are linked.
• When linking several screens together, for enhanced stability we recommend the use of our universal feet attached to the middle of every second one, and a plate foot at the end of the line (both optional extras).
• When creating workstation, angles should be created using the column accessory to ensure the screens are flush with the table and to avoid uneven distribution of weight.
• When using counter-tops, suspended shelves, etc. ensure there is sufficient stability by designing corners into the arrangement, or attaching screens to cupboards or desks.
• To make a T-connection halfway along a full straight screen, hang the optional soft bell touch flexible connection over it and offer the hard bell touch edge of the other screen up to it.

Accessories

• Magnetic strip: hooks over the top of a full screen. It has a slit from which can be hung a rack that accepts a variety of storage accessories in various sizes.
• For push-fitting over the top of a full straight screen: counter-top, decorative panel.
